Operate crane, mechanical boom and cable equipment to lift and move materials, products and structures in many directions. Determine load weights and check them against lifting capacities to prevent overload. Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage. Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and install or replace cables as needed. Involve in specialized heavy transport operations to move oversize and overweight construction precast materials, supplies and structures.
Special wage rate: Work to be performed on DPRI-funded projects and projects covered by Davis Bacon, Service Contracts Act, and/or Executive Order 14206 will be paid no less than the indicated wage rate but may be paid more where special rates apply.
